Other Weddings

Just as I thought - we got caught in the rain yesterday. We ended up jogging / running home. Have I mentioned how much I hate jogging?! Its simply not for me! Aching knees, out of breath...no no no.

A while ago I found this wedding on Style Me Pretty. I was totally inspired! I love Ashley's style, her choice of colours, the lighting and all the little details. I especially love the hanging luminaries, which we'll be doing as well. A gorgeous wedding overall.

We're going to a wedding tomorrow. I'm not so sure what its going to be like since its supposed to be outdoors and its been raining for days. I hope that they've got a back-up plan, but by the sounds of things I don't think that they do. This is also a bit of a strange wedding. The bride had her mother plan the whole thing in 2 months. When we asked her about details of the wedding last week at her bridal shower, she said she doesn't know anything, she's not bothered with the details. We were so taken back. Your wedding is a once in a lifetime thing, its supposed to be special and about you & your partner, its the celebration of your decision to spend the rest of your life together. Doesn't that deserve a bit of personal attention?

This weekend we plan to finish the invitations, the tissue paper pomanders, start folding the favour boxes and cut the tissue paper to fit in the favour boxes. Whether or not we'll get all this done remains to be seen but at least we'll try......
